Passpod Wi-Fi is a portable Wi-Fi device rental service that allows you to stay connected to the internet abroad without having to worry about expensive roaming. You can connect 5 devices at once with one Passpod Wi-Fi.

2. Which countries can use Passpod Wi-Fi?

Passpod Wi-Fi can be used in over 200 countries, including countries in Asia, Europe, and other popular destinations. Check your destination country on the Passpod website to make sure the service is available.

3. How much does it cost to rent a Passpod Wi-Fi?

The rental cost of a Passpod Wi-Fi varies depending on the destination country and duration of use. Starting from IDR 30,000/day. Make sure to check the price and package according to your needs on the official Passpod website.

4. How do I order a Passpod Wi-Fi?

You can order Passpod Wi-Fi online at www.passpod.com. Select your destination country, set the rental date and duration, then choose the delivery or pick-up option from the available locations.

5. How many devices can be connected to Passpod Wi-Fi?

One Passpod Wi-Fi device can be used to connect up to 5 devices at once, such as mobile phones, tablets, or laptops, making it perfect for traveling with friends or family.

6. How to use Passpod Wi-Fi after receiving it?

After receiving the Passpod Wi-Fi device, simply turn it on in the destination country and connect to the Wi-Fi network that appears on your phone or device. The WIFI password is located on the back of the device.

7. What is the download and upload speed of Passpod Wi-Fi?

Passpod Wi-Fi supports 4G connection in many countries with internet speed up to 40mbps, so you can enjoy fast internet while abroad.

8. Is there a data quota limit on Passpod Wi-Fi?

Passpod Wi-Fi offers unlimited data quota in all countries. Make sure to check the quota information for the destination country on the Passpod website before ordering.

Note: Passpod WiFi China is limited by the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) policy which allows data usage up to 3GB per day. After this limit is reached, internet speed may decrease.

9. How do I return the Passpod Wi-Fi device after use?

Modem Pickup:
  • Passpod Courier: Sent to your home/office addressr
  • Self Pick up: Pick up at the Passpod office
Modem Return:
  • Send to the Passpod office

  • Courier: The modem will be picked up by the Passpod courier to your address (Jakarta only)
  • Expedition: Send to the Passpod Office (Please pack safely to avoid damage to the modem)

10. What to do if Passpod Wi-Fi is not working?

If you experience problems or technical difficulties with your Wi-Fi device, you can contact Passpod customer service via Whatsapp Customer Service Advisor 24 hours a day at 08881171819. The Passpod team will help you solve the problem you are facing.

11. How do I change or cancel an order?

You can cancel your order no later than D-5 before departure and will be subject to a cancellation fee of IDR 100,000 which will be deducted from the amount paid and returned to the bank account listed during the order.

1. What is Passpod SIM Card?

2. In which countries can the Passpod SIM Card be used?

3. How much does a Passpod SIM Card cost?

4. How to buy Passpod SIM Card?

You can order Passpod SIM Card online through Passpod's official website at www.passpod.com and Ecommerce (Shopee, Tokopedia and BliBli) Choose your destination country, determine the duration of the trip, and the SIM Card will be sent to your address before departure.

5. What is the download and upload speed of Passpod SIM Card?

6. Can the Passpod SIM Card be used for calls or SMS?

The Passpod SIM Card only provides internet data services without phone or SMS features. So, the focus is for those of you who need a stable and fast internet connection.

7. Do I need to activate the Passpod SIM Card before use?

No! The Passpod SIM Card is already active when you arrive in your destination country. Simply insert the SIM Card into your phone (recommended in SIM/Slot 1) and the internet can be used immediately. (Note: For Hong Kong SIM Cards, registration is required) This regulation is an official policy of the Hong Kong government.

Notes for Hong Kong SIM Card Registration:
  • Insert your SIM card into your smartphone.
  • Go to the website https://global.cmlink.com/store/realname.
  • Enter an active email and a contactable phone number to receive SMS notifications (as confirmation of successful registration).
  • Enter the ICCID number listed on the SIM card barcode, which starts with 20220xxx.
  • Upload a photo of your passport as part of the verification process.

8. Does Passpod offer Wi-Fi or just a SIM card?

In addition to the SIM card, Passpod provides Passpod Wi-Fi Portable if you need a Wi-Fi connection for multiple devices at once.

9. What to do if Passpod SIM Card cannot be used?

10. What happens to the validity period of a SIM card that has been filled with a data package?

A SIM card that has been filled with a data package has a validity period (180 days) starting from the date of data filling. If the SIM card is empty (has not been filled with a data package), then it can be used indefinitely.

11. How is the active period of a data package calculated if it is activated at a certain time in the destination country?

The calculation of the active period of a data package is 24 hours per day, calculated from the activation time. For example, if activation is done at 14:00 in the destination country, then the 24-hour period is calculated until 13:59 the next day.
